Cards go in the trash now, not my pocket. Very good OCR and easy interface and syncing capabilities across multiple email accounts.
I really like this app. No more business cards floating around the bottom of my bag. Most of the time its accurate, but there are times where it does not convert the information correctly. Its one of those issues that may never be resolved because of the diverseness/ uniqueness in business cards themselves. Regardless, Ill continue to use it and Ive recommended to friends.
Im simple user and right now dont need bells and whistles. So far, the app works pretty good for me.
Some bad moments
The app requires your email address in addition to your mobile phone number and requires access to your contacts. Itll repeatedly ask for your "phone number" but wont be satisfied without you entering a "mobile" phone number. Also, the few cards I scanned required extensive editing. Deleted app and removed personal info from my account.
I scanned 5 cards and this app misread the contact info on all 5 cards. I had to delete what this app read and manually type it in myself.
Tries to be too much and ends up doing a bad job of it. Its quick to scan and process but comes up with dumb entries that need editing. Im scanning cards from fortune 100 companies, nothing weird.
If you just want to scan cards and retain the info so you can junk the stacks of cards youre hoarding this isnt the app you want.
Theres no reason to force one to login or create an account. This is my information, not yours. App deleted 5 seconds after installation.
I thought this app would be good for a simple person like me to organize my business cards and not have them all around the house. Wrong. With this app you have to insert your company name, etc into the app even before you can get to first base. I attempted to use names but then my phone number is required. Deleted the app. This is for strictly business people which seems like a good app for them. By the way, when attempting to get back into the app, I kept getting a black screen. Would not work. I need something to organize my cards from my contacts in the business world without having a business of my own.! Thanks anyway!
I used to use this all the time for scanning business cards. Somewhere recently, the "scan from album" on my 6S is screwed up. It takes 3-5 minutes for the list of albums to load and then it uses a non-standard way to display photos and the albums. I have over 25,000 pictures but use iCloud Photo Library - so it works seamlessly with other apps on my phone and display the photos correctly with latest photos first. I have stopped using it even though Im a paid user.
