CamCard - Business card scanner & reader App Reviews

I do not write reviews until I have used them for awhile. After this for some months it is great. Easy to use, which I like. Sometimes I have a problem editing but I think that is more me.

I really like this application but sometime the contacts dont translate perfectly into my contact lists

Easy to use. Very little editing with most business cards. Capable of capturing front and back of cards. Syncs seamlessly with my contacts. Love the category option to later sort out by prospect, customer, networking etc.

Im in laboratory sales and this sure beats having the old holder with a ton of business cards. Overall, the app is very good and very convenient. My only (constructive) criticism is the OCR function of how the camera captures data on the card. Sometimes it doesnt capture the names or titles of the people on the business card and puts down "jibberish" causing me to have to go back and type in all the information (which is counterintuitive for why I downloaded this application in the first place). Hopefully theyll update their data capturing function better down the road so itll eliminate the user having to delete all the jibberish data and capture all of the cards correct information into the fields in this app.

Though you do have to correct scanned info occasionally, it helps keep track of the people you meet and auto loads them into your contacts!

Great app for quickly adding cards, notes, photos etc.

I used to use this all the time for scanning business cards. Somewhere recently, the "scan from album" on my 6S is screwed up. It takes 3-5 minutes for the list of albums to load and then it uses a non-standard way to display photos and the albums. I have over 25,000 pictures but use iCloud Photo Library - so it works seamlessly with other apps on my phone and display the photos correctly with latest photos first. I have stopped using it even though Im a paid user.

I love this app. I have been using this app for a while. It keeps all of my business cards together without the bulk!!

I get 8-10 business cards handy me a day. I had three card binders and cards laying here and there. This App has replaced all of that. I love the fact that it syncs to your contacts. I would recommend this to anyone.

This app reads the business cards very quickly and is mostly accurate. The biggest issue is picking up the company name within a logo, but I dont know of any app that is better. Its great!

If you are in business, in sales, or meet a lot of people, this is a must-have app! I used to have stacks and stacks of business cards from conventions and Chamber of Commerce mixers inside of my desk drawer. This may shock you, but having business cards in your desk is not going to help you make sales. Now as soon as I meet somebody, I scan their card and then hand it back to them. They love it! They know theyre in my database and wont be forgotten in the desk drawer! Accuracy is great too! I very rarely have to make corrections on the OCR.

This app fast, accurate and extremely useful.

I have used for many years. Not flawless as the many varied text styles and colours can confuse the app. Regardless it is very effecient!

This APP is great for storing business cards and a big time saving.
